A lesson in anatomy

Davis "mommy, can I look at my photo album of my baby pictures?"
Mommy "sure Davis"
Davis "Mommy, I remember this part, when I was in your tummy and then we were at the hospital, and then I came out"
Mommy "really, how did you come out"
Davis "from your tummy of course"
Mommy "out my belly button?"
Davis "well actually, maybe just out of your mouth" (ahhhhh!)...."actually mommy, maybe you're right ( a phrase I don't hear often enough!!!) , maybe I came from your belly button."

Sometimes, I think that those C-section scares are easier to explain...I'm glad this conversation ended with my belly button!! That's our quiet morning, just me and Davis up early today, ending in giggles and questions! I love that boy!
